Tom Grejs is a Swedish filmmaker born i Bjursås, Dalarna 1985. He started his career shooting ski and snowboard movies with his friends at the local ski-area in the early 00’s. The fifth ski-movie they made; Old School (2006) was nominated for best original film at VAST-awards in Germany 2007. In 2008 he got selected to the talent-program Upcoming, where he got to produce and directed his first major shortfilm. The award-winning horrorfilm Unfortunate (2009).
Tom have always been interested in screenwriting and early understood the importance of a good script for a successful film. In 2007 he started studying Screenwriting for film and television at the University of Dalarna. Then after graduating in 2011, he founded Stratos Cinema with fellow Falun-born filmmaker Martin Flink.
Between 2011 until today he’s continued to develop, produce, and direct now over 200+ commercials, branded content, and short films for Stratos Cinema. And in 2021 he wrote, produced, and directed Stratos Cinemas first feature film (TBA), looking for a release in 2023.
