ABOUT THE FILM
Generation EV was originally a film where we wanted to show a newer generation the old petrol-powered fossil car from a more comical and critical perspective. We played with it and really questioned all the arguments that the car salesman had so it would be more comical. But still, it's sadly just the truth. Maybe something we can look back on how we used to use fossil fuels to run cars. But the film is also meant to be a bit nostalgic and show how things really change, and sometimes quickly. Just look at how the film medium has been distributed over the last 30 years. From renting a VHS to now streaming a huge range of UltraHD whenever you want. Electric cars may not be the best transport solution, but right now a better solution than the fossil car. Wondering where we are in 30 years? Will there be movies about the old electric car then?
